Luna Mendoza is an artist who works with a range of materials from textiles, paper, and paint – focused on the idea that her practice can exist fluidly between the parameters of art, craft, and design. Mexican American raised in Los Angeles, she is inspired by crafts relationship with history and ecology in the lands we now call the Americas. Her life’s dream is to have two sheep, an alpaca, and a garden where she can cultivate materials to incorporate into her practice.
