My name is Luna Mendoza and I am an artist who works with a range of materials from textiles, paper, and paint – focused on the idea that my practice can exist fluidly between the parameters of art, craft, and design. Mexican American raised in Los Angeles, I am inspired by crafts relationship with history and ecology in the lands we now call the Americas. My life’s dream is to have two sheep, an alpaca, and a garden where I can cultivate materials to incorporate into my practice.
